Have you ever wanted to make a custom template for your Outlook emails? Here is how to implement a custom HTML email as an Outlook template. These instructions assume that you have someone to make an HTML email for you or you know how to do it yourself and that it's already made. You should have the email set up with placeholder text so you know where title text, subheads, and main copy should go. 1.) In Outlook 2003, go to "Tools" then "Options" 2.) Choose the “Mail Format” Tab 3.) Make sure the “Signature for New Messages” field is set to None.(optional - it may mess up the HTML email formatting) 4.) Choose “Stationary Picker” 5.) Choose “New” 6.) Enter a new name like “MyCool Email” 7.) Choose the bullet for “Use this file as template” 8.) Find the HTML file on your computer that you want to use for the template. 9.) Click “OK” and “OK” again. Then click “Apply” on the Mail Format screen. This is now the default template for all new email messages. Select a new message and your new template should display in the New Message window. Edit the copy to your specifications and send. If you want to use this for only one email or if you get sick of this template that you just set up, then go through the first 4 steps above again and either choose another template or choose "none". Some text formatting will not translate well into Outlook. So test and you may need to reformat a little using the Outlook editing palette. If anyone has tips for doing the same thing in Outlook 2007, please share with me. I understand there have been some changes to the dialog boxes.

Hello,
Templates are particularly useful in email newsletters and periodic group messages, where only particular information changes. All these templates were created by graphical designers, and they are yours to use. The template themes can be grouped on the following topics, each template being delivered in three sizes. Thanks...
