Today I learned that spam checkers read comments in HTML code. This can raise your email spam score. I know some people, including myself, will use HTML comments to make it easier for others to update the HTML code, like when creating an HTML email template. It is hard enough to get a low spam score, so from now on make sure you remove all HTML comments before spam testing and before blasting your emails.
